What it is

The Peak Design Everyday Backpack Zip is Peak Design’s simpler zip-access everyday backpack. Official page copy: “A visually and functionally simpler version of our iconic Everyday Backpack, the Everyday Backpack Zip’s ultra-clean aesthetic makes it ideal for discreet urban everyday or photo carry.” Schema description on the same product: “Ideal for everyday carry and light photo carry.”

It is a different SKU from the MagLatch Everyday Backpack (already a separate Peak Design line) and from the Peak Design Tech Pouch already listed on Unseen Carry. This page is the Zip model only.

Two capacities on the official US product page (2026-09-03): 15L and 20L. Color options on the page: Black, Ash, Midnight, Bone, Kelp, Eclipse. Official materials list leather accents on Ash, Midnight, and Bone; Hypalon accents on Black.

Official US prices at review: 15L $199.95, 20L $229.95. The product page also showed refurbished inventory at lower prices (15L from $159.96; 20L from $183.96). Stock varies by size/color—confirm on Peak Design before buying.

Honest verdict

Use it. For a discreet urban work pack with real side access, FlexFold organization, a protective laptop sleeve, and a recycled weatherproof shell—at $199.95 (15L) / $229.95 (20L) on the official US page—the Everyday Backpack Zip is Peak Design’s cleaner answer when the MagLatch Everyday Backpack is more bag than you need.

Do not buy it if you actually want the MagLatch model’s latch system, or if camera-first carry is the whole job and you need a larger photo-dedicated pack. Re-review if Peak Design changes the 15L/20L prices, drops a colorway, or revises the laptop Specs.
